You name it

You are writing,
Writing under candlelight
You don’t like how your words sound
Throwing them away after a while

Beautiful lines are thrown away
You should keep them all My Dear
Every single word counts

You are writing,
Writing letters you’ll never send
Renewed courage
Hasn’t ripened enough to send them?
Just like you couldn’t gather the courage
To receive this unconditional love

You are sitting silently,
Sitting to retreat from your mind
It is beating repeatedly
The same old drum

But it doesn’t work as it used to once
Does it?
Can’t you see
Because you are not the same,
To open the door,
You need a new key

I feel you are discovering who you really are
And battling it, as you realise,
You need to leave the driver’s seat
To His lead

It is not easy I do admit
Maybe it can give you
Some peace to know
You are not alone in this

I hope you are aware
You are not sacrificing anything
At least not your will at all!
You are just learning how to witness to
The true art of the master puppeteer
That’s all!

You are hearing,
Hearing the melody
Humming in between these lines
You want to give them a skin
I can feel it
Why are you waiting then!?
Dress them as you like

I don’t want to beat the drum
About the unity of our beings
Time has come to go beyond
And sing a new song

You are singing,
Singing the song sung in your soul
It is so loud
You can’t ignore

You are waiting,
Waiting to read another one of these lines
You once couldn’t even bear
To hear a single one

It feels unfair to see
What you give back is
Just a deafening silence

This was supposed to be
Guided steps to the rose garden
But look we are stuck on a battlefield
That is bloody silent

I heard you say
Leave me alone
Yes I heard it
OK
I hear you
Ok I leave you alone
I’m just so tired anyway
I hope your soul too can leave me alone!
